Melissa a.k.a "FD Mel" is a Licensed Funeral Director in Ballston Lake, NY. She grew up in upstate NY with her parents and siblings and attended HVCC, earning her degree in Mortuary Science in 2018.
Melissa's strong family values give her the tools to understand and navigate through the challenges of the funeral profession with ease. She serves with warmth and compassion and her hard working demeanor will surely lead her to success in both her personal and professional endeavors. 
Outside of work, Melissa loves to read and listen to podcasts. She is also passionate about music and frequently attends concerts with her friends. A foodie of sorts, Melissa loves trying new restaurants around the Capital District; in the summer especially, you can find her spending time outdoors and trying out new ice cream spots.
